Is Tanning for You?
Gearing up for a cruise, honeymoon, special event
... or just want to look your best with a beautiful
golden tan? Then our professional indoor tanning
service is for you. More and more of our clients are
tanning indoors for convenience, speed, control
and pure enjoyment. Tanning not only makes you look
your best, but feel your best!
Why Should I Use
Eyewear?

The
eyelids are not thick enough to protect the eyes
against UV damage. Damage
can take the form of Corneal Bums and/or Cataracts,
which can result in night
blindness, color blindness, and blurred vision.
"Raccoon eyes" can be avoided by moving the eyewear
up and down during the tanning session. Because we
care about your eyes, proper eyewear is required.
Why
Should I Use A Lotion?
There are three
fundamental reasons to always use a lotion when
tanning:
-
You will damage
your skin if you don't,
-
You will tan faster
and darker if you do
-
Your tan will last
longer and look healthier.
Tanning without lotion depletes the skin of
moisture, much like if you removed the moisture from
a grape. The result is a wrinkled, dry, peeling,
raisin. This can happen to the skin as well. However
it can be almost completely avoided if you use a
quality indoor tanning lotion. The ingredients of a
premium lotion like Designer Skin or Fiji Blend,
include moisturizers and DNA enzymes to protect the
skin cell's structure and maintain moisture balance.
Did you know, you
reject as much as 60% of your tanning potential by
not using an indoor lotion!
Tanning in moderation
with quality lotion products will not prematurely
age your skin. Not using lotions and moisturizers,
will! Be sure to never tan without a lotion.
Will I
Burn?
Burning is the enemy.
Tanning is your skin's natural defense mechanism and
protection against burning. Burning leads to photo
damage, premature aging, sun-spots, drying, flaking
and peeling of the skin, and should be avoided at
all costs. At Oasis Tan you can tan without burning.
Moderation is the key and is enforced.
